La investigación analiza el impacto de la plataforma Mil Aulas en el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas de los estudiantes de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo. Se ha identificado que esta herramienta digital, basada en el aprendizaje móvil (m-Learning), promueve habilidades como la resolución de problemas, la toma de decisiones y el pensamiento crítico y creativo.El estudio se justifica desde un punto de vista teórico y práctico, abordando el papel de la tecnología educativa en el aprendizaje. Se aplicó una metodología mixta (cuantitativa y cualitativa) con un diseño experimental y cuasiexperimental, utilizando encuestas, cuestionarios y observaciones con una población de estudio de 383 estudiantes, con una muestra de 30 participantes además los resultados iniciales mostraron que los estudiantes tenían poco conocimiento de la plataforma y tenían dificultades para utilizarla. Sin embargo, después de implementar estrategias de instrucción y mejorar la supervisión en la plataforma mil aulas, las pruebas posteriores reflejaron mejoras en el aprendizaje independiente, la resolución de problemas y la evaluación colaborativa.
