Il riso è il cereale più consumato in Brasile e rappresenta un alimento base sulla tavola della maggior parte della popolazione. Lo scopo di questo studio è stato quello di valutare i genotipi di riso montano raccolti nella regione Vale do Ribeira di San Paolo in termini di strutture riproduttive, produttività, qualità dei chicchi e ricchezza del contenuto nutrizionale del chicco. I genotipi sono stati piantati, valutati e caratterizzati presso l’Azienda Agricola Sperimentale dell’Università Statale di San Paolo, Campus Sperimentale di Registro.
