Oggi, le malattie neurologiche sono uno dei fattori più importanti nella mortalità. Tra i disturbi nervosi mortali, le malattie neurologiche includono la dislessia. La malattia è causata da mutazioni nei geni delle cellule nervose. Ma anche i fattori epigenetici hanno un ruolo importante nella capacità di indurre la malattia. In questo studio abbiamo analizzato 50 persone: 10 pazienti affetti da dislessia e 10 persone del gruppo di controllo. I geni DCDC2, KIAA0319, DYX1C1 sono stati analizzati in termini di mutazioni genetiche. In questo studio sono state prese in esame le persone con mutazioni genetiche affette da disturbi nervosi e dalla malattia di Moyamoya. Infatti, tra tutte le persone affette da dislessia, 10 pazienti presentavano mutazioni genetiche nei geni DCDC2, KIAA0319, DYX1C1. Nel gruppo di controllo non sono state riscontrate mutazioni genetiche nei geni target.
