Ziel war es, die Produktivität (P) und Effizienz (E) von Wasser (A) in der Kuhmilchproduktion zu bestimmen, sowohl in physischer (F), wirtschaftlicher (E) und sozialer (S) Hinsicht im ländlichen Entwicklungsdistrikt (RDD) Laguna-Coahuila, Mexiko, in Milchviehherden mit niedriger (LRV) und hoher Leistung (HRV), unter Verwendung einer ökonomischen Methodik, die auf der Verwendung von mathematischen Gleichungen basiert, die mit kommerziellen Daten gefüttert werden. Die Ergebnisse, für beide Arten von Milchviehherden, in der gleichen Reihenfolge, zeigten die folgenden Indizes: PFA 0,385 und 0,6864 Liter Milch pro m3 Wasser, PEA hatte USD 12.731 und USD 22.698 Gewinn pro hm3 Wasser, PSA war der gleiche Index in beiden Herden 1.059 Arbeitsplätze pro hm3, ihre Umkehrung, die Effizienzindizes des in der Produktion verwendeten Wassers, waren wie folgt: 2.600 und 1.459 Liter Wasser pro Liter Milch in der EFA, während es in der EEA 78,55 und 44,06 m3 für jeden USD Gewinn gab, und in der PSA war es der gleiche Indikator 944.273 m3 für jeden erzeugten Arbeitsplatz.
