A era experiencial é marcada pelo facto de os consumidores estarem sedentos por experiências de consumo extraordinárias, intensas e memoráveis. Estudos sobre o universo do lazer experiencial explicam que se trata, por definição, de atividades que fogem do comum, que não se deseja repetir e em relação às quais os clientes têm expectativas elevadas e confusas ao mesmo tempo. O objetivo da nossa investigação é explorar as especificidades da experiência do cliente no lazer experiencial e alimentar os dois mundos, científico e profissional, através de um panorama metodológico que reúne investigação documental, inquérito exploratório e estudo quantitativo, de um modelo verificado que explica o processo de atração, satisfação e fidelização dos clientes deste tipo de lazer.
