This book exams various areas of nuisance urban birds create to human inhabitants in some of our cities. However, birds are morphologically beautiful, attractive, and loved by humans. Additionally, their ecological role in the wild environment, specifically the rainforest where pollination and regeneration of some floral species partially depend on their feeding behavior has contributed immensely in ecosystem balance in most biomes on earth. Moreover, their value in research and the tourism industry has transformed the economy of many nations through bird-watching programs. Unfortunately, the feeding behavior of some bird species on crop-lands and their social activities on city dumping sites are some of the conflict areas with humans. This book explores the social behavior of urban bird species on urban crop-farms and solid waste dumping sites, hence, the implication of these social activities on human health and its economy in these cities.
