'Gli studi sullo sviluppo di miscele di bevande a base di guava (Psidium guajava L.), mela di bosco (Feronia limonia L.) e zenzero (Gingiber officinale Rosc.)sono consistiti in tre serie di esperimenti. Il primo esperimento ha esaminato gli attributi chimici della polpa di guava, della polpa di mela e del succo di zenzero. Nel secondo esperimento, si è cercato di selezionare la migliore combinazione di polpa di guava, polpa di mela e succo di zenzero con zucchero, acido citrico, conservanti e acqua per la preparazione di bevande RTS, squash e sciroppo di qualità gradevole al palato, mentre nel terzo esperimento si è valutata la conservabilità delle bevande preparate in condizioni ambientali e a bassa temperatura.
