Traditionally exceptional children have experienced exclusion, discrimination and segregation form the mainstream education. Only some of the exceptional children are placed in separate schools or classes. A large number of these children are not attending schools. So the general education system should be accommodate these exceptional child and accept for inclusive education. Therefore Teacher education programmed, teacher educators, teachers, parents & members of community should facilitate for the successful implementation of inclusive education. For the successful implementation of inclusive education the teacher education programmed should: • sensitize the teacher trainees about inclusive education practices• Create awareness among all teacher trainees about the education of exceptional children• Develop positive attitudes in teacher trainees towards children with disabilities• Provide the knowledge about various disabilities to the teacher trainees• Equip the teacher trainees with skill to manage different categories of exceptional children in general classrooms• Develop awareness in teacher trainees about educational policies and programmes for children with special needs.
