No presente estudo, seis genótipos de feijão indiano resistentes (P-19-169, V-19-15, V-19-35, GNIB-22, W-19-05, V-19-24) e seis altamente susceptíveis (P-19-176, W-19-60, P-19-127, V-19-11, W-19-58, V-19-106) foram analisados com nove pares de iniciadores RGA. Sete pares de iniciadores RGA foram amplificados com êxito em todos os genótipos resistentes, mas não em todos os genótipos altamente susceptíveis. Os amplicons foram obtidos em sete pares de primers RGA, sendo que cinco pares de primers RGARGA1FCG & RGA1R,VMYR1F & VMYR1R,YR4F & YR4R, RGAIB3 & RGAIB4, RGAIB5 & RGAIB6 amplificaram uma única banda de aproximadamente 450 pb, 450 pb, 450 pb, 450 pb e 1050 pb, respetivamente, em genótipos resistentes, enquanto apenas dois pares de iniciadores RGA CYR1F & CYR1R e RGAIB1 & RGAIB2 foram encontrados com uma banda proeminente de aproximadamente 950 pb e 350 pb. De acordo com os dados da presente investigação, sete pares de marcadores RGA revelaram-se eficazes na diferenciação entre genótipos resistentes e altamente susceptíveis de feijão indiano. Estes marcadores RGA podem ser utilizados em investigações de mapeamento de genes de resistência e de validação de marcadores com resistência duradoura ao YMV.
