Die physikalisch-chemische und mikrobiologische Charakterisierung von Pollen ist wichtig für die Qualitätskontrolle und sogar für die Standardisierung des Pollens einheimischer Bienen. Aufgrund der Bedeutung und des Mangels an Daten zur Untersuchung des Pollens von Melipona scutellaris L. Um die physikalisch-chemische, mineralische und mikrobiologische Zusammensetzung von Pollenproben zu überprüfen, die von Melipona scutellaris L.-Bienen gesammelt wurden, wurde das Material im Biome Mata Atlântica gesammelt, wo das Klima tropisch-feucht ist und die Jahrestemperatur zwischen 23 und 35 °C liegt. Gleichzeitig wird vorgeschlagen, die zugänglichste und effektivste Technik zur Dehydrierung und Konservierung des Pollens von Melipona scutellaris L. (Uruçu) ausgewählt werden, deren Ergebnisse zur Festlegung von Identitäts- und Qualitätsstandards (PIQ) sowie zur technisch-wissenschaftlichen Entwicklung von Konservierungsverfahren beitragen, um die Lebensmittelsicherheit im Bereich der familiären Landwirtschaft, insbesondere bei der Zucht von stachellosen Bienen, zu fördern.
