Les activités expérimentales de recherche sont devenues une stratégie extrêmement importante dans le processus d’enseignement et d’apprentissage de l’éducation scientifique, car elles permettent d’apprendre des concepts et de développer des compétences importantes. Sur la base de ces hypothèses, cet article présente un rapport d’expérience sur les activités expérimentales de recherche dans une école publique de Nova Floresta - PB. Le travail a été réalisé avec des élèves de deux classes de 7e année et visait à évaluer l’application des leçons expérimentales en tant que ressource pédagogique pour le processus d’enseignement et d’apprentissage. Dans cette étude, nous avons cherché à développer une méthodologie qui, en plus de caractériser la pensée des élèves tout au long de l’activité d’investigation, nous permettrait de relier les connaissances antérieures de chaque élève à leur performance et aux stratégies utilisées au cours de l’activité, en la reliant à des problèmes quotidiens. Les activités expérimentales proposées ont été conçues en tenant compte de trois thèmes : la microbiologie, l’évolution et la morphologie et l’anatomie des plantes.
