Heutzutage sind rheumatische Erkrankungen weltweit ein weit verbreitetes Problem, insbesondere bei Jugendlichen. Eine Funktionsstörung des menschlichen Immunsystems kann den Schweregrad und die Häufigkeit des Ausbruchs der Erkrankung erhöhen. Daher können eine rechtzeitige Diagnose und die Erkennung genetischer Störungen bei rheumatischen Erkrankungen dazu beitragen, das Leiden junger Patienten zu lindern und den Schweregrad der Erkrankung zu verringern. In diesem Buch wurden Mutationen im Gen HLA-DBR1 im Zusammenhang mit juveniler rheumatoider Arthritis in der Stadt Tabriz im Iran untersucht. Wir hoffen, dass die Ergebnisse dieser Forschung einen wichtigen Schritt zur Erforschung geeigneter Behandlungsmethoden für die rheumatoide Arthritis darstellen. Die idiopathische Arthritis bei Säuglingen ist die häufigste rheumatische Erkrankung bei Neugeborenen, wobei die Prävalenz je nach geografischem Gebiet und den zugrunde liegenden Kriterien variiert. Im Rahmen dieses Projekts wurden die HLA-DRB1-Allele bei 57 Kindern mit juveniler rheumatoider Arthritis in Tabriz untersucht. Periphere Blutproben von 57 Kindern mit rheumatoider Arthritis und 100 gesunden Jugendlichen als Kontrollgruppe wurden auf die Präparation und das Vorhandensein von HLA-DRB1-Allelen verglichen.
