Foi desenvolvido e validado um método RP-HPLC rápido, sensível e específico com deteção por UV para a determinação do voriconazol. A cromatografia foi efectuada numa coluna Enable C18 G (250 × 4,6 mm) em modo isocrático, utilizando uma fase móvel de metanol e acetonitrilo (60:40, v/v). O caudal foi fixado em 1 mL/min e o efluente foi monitorizado a 223 nm. A análise cromatográfica revelou um pico principal para o voriconazol com um tempo de retenção de 2,841 minutos. O metanol foi selecionado como o solvente para a análise, sendo o λmax determinado a 223 nm. O método apresentou linearidade num intervalo de concentração de 5-30 µg/mL. Os parâmetros de validação, incluindo a linearidade, a gama, a precisão, a exatidão, o limite de deteção (LOD) e o limite de quantificação (LOQ), foram avaliados e cumpriram as normas exigidas.
