Cette monographie présente les résultats d’études menées sur plusieurs années sur les sols forestiers gris érodés et les sols cumuliques (déluviaux) des paysages de transit-accumulation. Les particularités de la teneur en formes brutes et en composés de Cu, Zn, Co, Ni, Mn et Fe dans les sols des versants et dans la végétation sont examinées. Les lois régissant la répartition verticale en profil et la migration horizontale, l’absorption biologique, leur apport dans les sols des agrocénoses, ainsi que leur accumulation dans les plantes sont mises en évidence. Les degrés de contamination des sols érodés par les oligo-éléments et leur niveau de toxicité pour les plantes ont été établis. Des recommandations pratiques visant à minimiser l’apport en oligo-éléments et à améliorer la qualité des sols érodés des versants sont présentées. Cet ouvrage s’adresse aux spécialistes en pédologie, géochimie, agriculture, écologie et agrochimie, ainsi qu’aux enseignants et aux étudiants, afin de leur permettre de comprendre le comportement des oligo-éléments et leur impact sur l’environnement.
