Doświadczenie polowe przeprowadzono w gospodarstwie Agronomy, S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner (Rajasthan) podczas kharif, 2010 na gliniastej glebie piaszczystej, która składała się z czterech zabiegów poziomu wermikompostu (kontrola, 2, 4 i 6 t / ha) i czterech zabiegów poziomu żyzności (kontrola, 50, 75 i 100% RDF), tworząc w ten sposób szesnaście kombinacji zabiegów testowano w randomizowanym projekcie blokowym z trzema powtórzeniami. Zalecana dawka nawozów dla perzu wynosiła 60 kg N i 20 kg P2O5/ha. Plon ziarna był istotnie wyższy dzięki zastosowaniu 6 t/ha wermikompostu w porównaniu z kontrolą, 2 i 4 t/ha. Jednak w odniesieniu do akumulacji suchej masy na metr długości rzędu w 30 DAS, masy testowej, plonu ziarna i wskaźnika zbioru, obróbka od 50 do 100% RDF pozostała prawie taka sama. Stwierdzono, że 100% poziom żyzności (RDF) bez wermikompostu przynosi najwyższy zwrot (16532 Rs ha-1).
