Die einzelnen Verlustarten untersucht der Autor hierbei hinsichtlich relevanter Verlusteffekte und analysiert die räumliche Verlustverteilung sowie das temperaturabhängige Verhalten der Verluste. Darauf aufbauend entwickelt er sowohl entsprechende Methoden zur Verlustübergabe an die thermische Domäne als auch Skalierungsvorschriften und -formeln zur Abbildung der Temperaturabhängigkeit.Der AutorDavid Bauer promovierte an der Universität Stuttgart und ist heute im Bereich der Auslegung elektrischer Maschinen für Elektro- und Hybridantriebe tätig.
