Lo studio ha cercato di sviluppare un modello strutturale sugli attributi demografici, i fattori psicosociali e le procedure didattiche delle competenze degli studenti nel TLE. Lo studio è stato condotto tra le nove divisioni della Regione X, individuate attraverso un campionamento casuale semplice. Gli attributi demografici degli studenti indicano che la maggior parte di essi ha un’età compresa tra i 15 anni e che il numero di femmine prevale. I fattori psicosociali degli studenti appaiono soddisfacenti in termini di atteggiamento nei confronti della tecnologia, abitudine allo studio e autoefficacia, che li spingono a interessarsi seriamente all’educazione alla tecnologia e ai mezzi di sussistenza. Gli studenti hanno osservato le procedure didattiche nella maggior parte delle occasioni, indicando che tali procedure consentono loro di raggiungere gli obiettivi della tecnologia. Le competenze degli studenti sono emerse come altamente competenti in tutti i settori, il che ha fornito loro una preparazione per un futuro impiego retribuito e competenze per l’ingresso nel mondo del lavoro in termini di servizi domestici, artigianato, disegno, elettricità e tecnologie dell’informazione e della comunicazione (TIC).
