Questa tesi affronta il tema delle classi prescolari e della loro influenza sugli alunni. L’obiettivo è esplorare in che misura la partecipazione a una classe prescolare influenzi e sostenga i bambini nella loro educazione della prima infanzia, nello sviluppo sociale e nel passaggio alla scuola primaria.Nella parte teorica della tesi, vengono chiariti termini importanti e viene descritto più dettagliatamente il sistema delle classi prescolari in Austria. Per approfondire il campo di ricerca e rispondere alla domanda di ricerca, è stato scelto un metodo di ricerca qualitativo. A tal fine, sono state condotte sei interviste a esperti che insegnano in una scuola primaria.I risultati delle interviste mostrano che gli insegnanti vedono la classe prescolare come un beneficio per gli alunni. È emerso che la partecipazione a questa classe sostiene i bambini in varie aree e ha un’influenza chiaramente positiva sul loro sviluppo.
