Cette recherche a été développée dans le cadre d’une formation d’enseignants intitulée Projet Science et conscience citoyenne (PCCC) , suggérée et développée par son auteur. Les propositions ont été mises en application auprès d’un groupe d’enseignants en sciences du réseau éducatif de la municipalité de Cruz Alta/RS/Brésil, accompagnés par leurs superviseurs pédagogiques et leurs directions scolaires respectifs, au cours des années 2011 et 2012, lors de réunions mensuelles, pour un total de 80 heures en présentiel. La méthodologie employée est partie d’une étude théorique/bibliographique sur les stratégies pédagogiques, à partir d’un fondement théorique ancré dans la conception des sciences de Thomas Kuhn, dans la conception éducative de David Ausubel et dans la conception méthodologique de Philippe Perrenoud, suivie d’une enquête sur le profil et les préconceptions du public cible concernant ses connaissances et ses pratiques en sciences, et, à partir de la proposition et du développement d’activités appelées Technologies éducatives, telles que l’alphabétisation scientifique, les cartes conceptuelles, les activités expérimentales et la résolution de problèmes, elle visait à consolider un enseignement des sciences fondé et développé par la recherche.
