About the AuthorBessie 'Terry' Wilkerson is an ordained minister and enjoys teaching God’s word. In 2002 Bessie earned a Master of Education degree in Psychological Studies from Cambridge College. She has worked in the Early Childhood Education/Human Services field for three decades. Bessie is a PK (preacher’s kid) and loves the Lord. She enjoys singing and writing children’s books. Bessie lives in Milton, Massachusetts with two of her three grown children.About the IllustratorRichard 'Ty' Schafrath earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in drawing from Ohio State University in 1988, but a visit to MGM Studios and the Feature Animation Studios Tour a year later in Orlando would change the course of his life.After numerous setbacks Ty eventually landed a job with Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Hollywood in 1995 as a Storyboard Artist through 2002, when the industry slowed from its frantic pace. He has illustrated several books and is a freelance story boarder, painter, and caricature artist.Ty, his wife Jeni, and his step-daughters reside in Bettendorf, Iowa. Ty is a follower of Jesus Christ and is a member of Harvest Bible Chapel in Davenport, Iowa.
