Français Le présent livre décrit le dispositif expérimental de production de plasma froid gazeux (N2, O2, H2, etc.) et son application à la modification des matériaux, en particulier des matériaux fibreux. Le dispositif a été conçu localement à l’Institut de physique (IOP), Bhubaneswar, Inde. Le présent dispositif est utilisé pour la modification de surfaces de divers matériaux. Il se compose de différentes pièces avec différentes fonctions. Une bouteille de gaz N2 pur a été fixée avec une vanne de régulation pour réguler l’arrivée de gaz (0,2 lpm). Le vide de la cambrure a été obtenu de l’ordre de 2 × 10-5 bar en utilisant une combinaison de système de pompage d’une pompe rotative et d’une pompe turbomoléculaire. Une alimentation RF haute tension d’environ 1 kV a été fournie aux électrodes à l’intérieur de la chambre à vide à l’aide d’une unité d’alimentation haute tension (plages de tension 0-5 kV ; plages de courant de sortie 0-100 μA plages de fréquence 10 MHz). Les fibres polymères et toute surface solide peuvent être modifiées à l’aide des matériaux de configuration de plasma froid actuellement conçus, à savoir. métaux (Cu, Au, Ag, etc.).
