Lo studio biologico ha dimostrato l’effetto dello stigmasterolo e del β-sitosterolo presenti nella Viola odorata L. come antiossidanti e antibatterici.... Estrazione di stigmasterolo e β-sitosterolo come estratto grezzo da ciascuna parte delle radici, foglie, fiori e semi della pianta utilizzando (etere di petrolio e metanolo) per una stima qualitativa e quantitativa dello stigmasterolo e del β-sitosterolo in ciascuna parte della pianta mediante TLC, HPLC e CC.
