The main points researched are the identification of the types of socio-environmental impacts caused by each car wash activity on the environment and the health of workers, the environment and society, in addition to verifying whether they operate with environmental licensing. The parameters of the effluents generated are analysed in accordance with the effluent discharge standards established by CONAMA No. 430/2011. Suggestions are also made for reducing the environmental impact caused by the implementation/operation of car washes.
