Selected Works of World Chinese Poets: Overseas Poets, 2021-2025 is an anthology that gathers over a hundred poems by Chinese poets living abroad, showcasing the creative achievements of the global Chinese poetic community from 2021 to 2025. Edited by the Poetry Hall of the Chinese Poetry Association and published by Chicago Academic Press, the collection offers a diverse range of styles and themes, from natural imagery to philosophical reflections, and from personal experiences to global concerns like migration, war, and ecology. The poems capture universal themes such as nostalgia, identity, love, and the passage of time, while also exploring the challenges of living in a multicultural world. Through their work, these poets preserve the Chinese poetic tradition and engage in cross-cultural dialogue, reflecting the dynamic nature of contemporary Chinese poetry. This anthology is part of the larger Selected Works of World Chinese Poets: 2021-2025 series, which also includes volumes on poets from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and sequence poetry. Together, the series offers a panoramic view of modern Chinese poetry. We thank Chicago Academic Press and the editorial team of Poetry Hall for their support. This volume stands as a tribute to the dedication and creativity of the poets whose works illuminate the richness of contemporary Chinese poetry.
