Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, die Abfallströme der Haushalte auf der Grundlage der Ergebnisse von Erhebungen und Befragungen zu analysieren und zu schätzen, mit denen Informationen über das Aufkommen fester Siedlungsabfälle, die Zusammensetzung der Abfälle und ihre besonderen Merkmale gesammelt wurden. Auf der Grundlage der gesammelten Daten wurden die gegenwärtigen Bedingungen des kommunalen Abfallaufkommens in der Stadt Ulaanbaatar analysiert und die Schwierigkeiten der Recyclingwirtschaft ermittelt.
