Grazie ai recenti progressi nella computer vision e nel deep learning, i sistemi di riconoscimento automatico del linguaggio dei segni offrono soluzioni promettenti per colmare questo divario, consentendo la traduzione in tempo reale dei gesti delle mani in testo o linguaggio parlato. Questo progetto si concentra sull’implementazione di un sistema di riconoscimento del linguaggio dei segni in tempo reale che utilizza reti neurali convoluzionali (CNN) per identificare i gesti statici delle mani che rappresentano le lettere dell’alfabeto inglese.
