In its conventional form, research methodology can be regarded as a systematic way to unravel a problem. It is a discipline of studying how research is to be conducted. Basically, it is the procedures by which scholars accomplish their work of reciting, explaining and forecasting phenomena. Today, the advent of information technology (IT) with all of its revolutionary tools has impacted all the aspects of human kind lives dramatically. Traditional methods of teaching and learning in education has been taken over by new and emerging technologies. IT is having an enormous impact on all sectors of education - curriculum, methods of teaching, investigating, conducting the researches, classroom learning etc. Rapid, available communication with improved access of IT in home, office and educational institutions has made education a life-long process and has made the research a more dynamic process than ever, today. Considering the above mentioned context, research methodology can be defined as a spectrum that equips the scholars with the approaches, methods and tools they require for their academic endeavors.
