L’approvisionnement adéquat en eau du sol est essentiel pour la croissance et le développement du maïs. Le changement climatique peut entraîner des précipitations irrégulières et un stress hydrique excessif (EMS), ce qui constitue un obstacle majeur à l’agriculture durable. L’EMS est l’un des principaux obstacles à l’agriculture durable. La présente étude vise à étudier les effets d’un EMS de sept jours sur différents génotypes de maïs blanc, et à déterminer le stade de croissance sensible qui affecte négativement la croissance et le potentiel de rendement du maïs, ainsi que les caractéristiques morphologiques du maïs qui lui confèrent une tolérance à l’EMS.
