Face à l’augmentation des déchets, la mise en œuvre d’une stratégie de gestion efficace et durable est devenue de plus en plus urgente. La gestion durable devrait se concentrer sur les méthodes de traitement qui peuvent valoriser les matériaux et l’énergie contenus dans ces déchets.La principale méthode de traitement des déchets en Algérie est la mise en décharge. C’est la méthode la plus ancienne et la plus répandue en raison de son coût inférieur à celui des autres procédés d’élimination, mais elle présente de nombreux inconvénients. Grâce au développement de la technologie, nous espérons utiliser nos déchets d’une manière plus moderne pour l’exploitation de l’énergie avec un coût et un impact sur l’écosystème minimisés.
