Dalbergia sissoo (Roxb.) ist eine der neu eingeführten Baumarten im Irak und in der Region Kurdistan-Irak. Es gibt keine früheren Studien zu dieser Art, und aus diesem Grund gilt dieser Baum als eine der häufigsten Mehrzweckarten, die eine größere Berücksichtigung für die Baumzucht, die Wiederaufforstung und die Agroforstwirtschaft verdient, und eine wichtige Quelle für Medikamente ist. Diese Studie wurde durchgeführt, um viele Aspekte des Wachstums und der Entwicklung dieser Art abzudecken, um ihren Erfolg in der irakischen Umwelt zu steigern, wie z. B. die Behandlung der Samenschale vor der Aussaat, den geeignetsten Zeitpunkt für die Aussaat, den am besten geeigneten Kulturboden für das beste Wachstum der Sämlinge und die Wirkung von Zink auf das Wachstum sowie einige physiologische Merkmale des Sämlings.
