L’objectif de ce livre est de développer une équation modèle qui décrit la propagation de la contamination dans les sols et qui peut être utilisée pour déterminer le taux de contamination de l’environnement en estimant la concentration de métaux lourds dans le sol. L’équation modèle développée peut être considérée comme une bonne représentation d’un problème de contamination environnementale. L’autre objectif de ce livre est de concevoir deux réseaux neuronaux à avance directe (FFNN) comme technique alternative précise pour déterminer le taux de contamination de l’environnement qui peut être utilisé pour résoudre l’équation du modèle. Le premier réseau simule les paramètres du sol qui peuvent être utilisés comme données d’entrée dans le second réseau proposé, tandis que le second réseau simule la concentration de métaux lourds.
