The volume is a section that contains six chapters and is indeed a continuation of Volume II. However, in view of the size of this volume (section D), it has been divided into two books: Volume III-A and Volume III-B. Volume III-B, which contains part II and part III, is a continuation of Volume III-A, which is part I.
