Die Vielfalt und Dynamik von Kleinsäugern im Herzen trophischer Netzwerke sind hervorragende Indikatoren für den Gesundheitszustand von Ökosystemen. Unsere Fragestellung basiert auf der räumlich-zeitlichen Analyse des Verzehrs von Mikrosäugern durch zwei ihrer Räuber: die Gemeine Ginsterkatze und den Afrikanischen Goldwolf. Die daraus resultierende Studie wurde im Edough-Gebirge von Dezember 2018 bis Februar 2020 durchgeführt, wo wir insgesamt 390 Kotstücke sammeln konnten, von denen 210 der Gemeinen Ginsterkatze und 180 dem Afrikanischen Goldwolf gehörten. Wir führten eine taxonomische Identifizierung der Kleinsäuger durch, die von den beiden Raubtieren gefressen wurden, und analysierten anschließend einige Parameter der Struktur der Kleinsäugerpopulation und deren saisonale Variation in natürlichen Umgebungen. Nach der Auswertung des Kots konnten wir 04 Kleinsäugerarten identifizieren, wobei sich die trophischen Nischen zwischen den beiden Räubern vor allem in der Winterzeit überschnitten. Diese Ergebnisse bestätigen den Status der beiden sympatrischen Räuber als Probennehmer der Mikrosäugetier-Biodiversität in natürlichen Lebensräumen.
