La società sta affrontando un cambiamento demografico. La clientela over 50 costituisce la maggioranza in Austria e dispone anche del maggiore potere d’acquisto. È quindi giunto il momento per le aziende di prendere coscienza di questo cambiamento e di adeguarsi alle nuove circostanze. Allo stesso tempo, la generazione over 50 è uno dei gruppi di utenti più numerosi di Internet. È quindi importante che le aziende rendano il proprio sito web accessibile agli anziani. In questo lavoro viene quindi analizzato il cambiamento demografico in Austria sulla base dei dati forniti da Statistik Austria e ne vengono illustrati il significato e il potenziale. Sulla base di un’indagine empirica, di due interviste ad esperti e di una ricerca bibliografica, vengono elaborati i punti più importanti per un sito web adatto agli anziani e vengono presentate e motivate raccomandazioni generali per la comunicazione con la generazione over 50.
