Poiché la pesca d’altura è relativamente nuova nel mare Adriatico, ho incluso informazioni generali (storia, tipi di imbarcazioni, attrezzature, tecniche di pesca, biologia ed ecologia delle specie ittiche significative...). Grazie all’IGFA, che promuove la pesca sportiva e ricreativa in tutto il mondo ed è sostenitrice al 100% del catch and release, si impegna a preservare gli habitat marini e la popolazione ittica in tutto il mondo e può contribuire allo sviluppo di un turismo ittico di altissima qualità.
