Auf der Grundlage einer quantitativen und qualitativen Analyse der Fänge wurde das Ziel verfolgt, den tatsächlichen Fang pro Aufwandseinheit (CPUE) darzustellen. Da der Großfischfang in der Adria relativ neu ist, habe ich allgemeine Informationen (Geschichte, Bootstypen, Ausrüstung, Fangtechniken, Biologie und Ökologie wichtiger Fischarten...) hinzugefügt. Dank der IGFA, die weltweit den Sport- und Freizeitfischfang fördert und sich zu 100 % für Catch and Release einsetzt, setzt sie sich für den Erhalt der Meereslebensräume und Fischbestände weltweit ein und kann zur Entwicklung eines Fischereitourismus von höchster Qualität beitragen.
