Ce livre étudie les conditions actuelles de l’enseignement universitaire pour les étudiants en génie civil en termes de formation à l’utilisation de la plateforme BIM (Building Information Modelling) sur la scène nationale. Grâce à une recherche bibliographique et à l’évaluation des questionnaires remplis par les professeurs des universités brésiliennes, l’objectif principal de cette recherche était d’identifier des stratégies pédagogiques pour aborder la plateforme BIM dans l’enseignement du génie civil de premier cycle, en tenant compte de la résolution 11 du CES/CNE (MEC, 2002). Les résultats indiquent que la stratégie consiste à inclure la BIM dans les trois domaines fondamentaux du programme d’études, chaque approche étant compatible avec le niveau d’éducation et les besoins de formation de l’étudiant. Enfin, ce travail, ainsi que les autres analysés dans la revue de la littérature, soutient l’enseignement de la BIM en tant que sujet essentiel pour la formation des professionnels du génie civil.
