Questo libro indaga le condizioni attuali dell’istruzione universitaria per gli studenti di Ingegneria Civile in termini di formazione all’uso della piattaforma BIM (Building Information Modelling) nel panorama nazionale. Attraverso la ricerca bibliografica e la valutazione dei questionari compilati dai professori delle università brasiliane, l’obiettivo principale di questa ricerca è stato quello di identificare le strategie pedagogiche per l’approccio alla piattaforma BIM nell’insegnamento universitario dell’Ingegneria Civile, tenendo conto della Risoluzione 11 del CES/CNE (MEC, 2002). I risultati indicano che la strategia consiste nell’includere il BIM nelle tre aree principali del curriculum del corso, con ogni approccio compatibile con il livello di istruzione e le esigenze formative dello studente. Infine, questo lavoro, insieme agli altri analizzati nella revisione della letteratura, sostiene l’insegnamento del BIM come materia essenziale per la formazione dei professionisti dell’ingegneria civile.
