La Ciencias Experimentales de Física y Química como campo de investigación y/o creación intelectual requieren de los aportes de la investigación de dos grandes ámbitos: los desarrollos teóricos (epistemología y estructura de la ciencia) y el de carácter práctico (la más cercana al docente en aula) (González, 2004). Por tal razón requiere gran importancia destacar el potencial de la Física y Química como campo de investigación y la UNELLEZ debe ofrecer tanto al docente como al estudiante líneas de investigación en esta área que le permitan realizar estudios en total correspondencia con los problemas específicos en los diferentes campos de acciones. En este sentido la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo actualizar las Líneas de Creación Intelectual en las Ciencias Experimentales Física y Química, para fortalecer la investigación aplicada en el VPDS-UNELLEZ. El estudio se enmarca en una investigación de campo, descriptiva y proyecto especial.
