Pour Piaget, l’apprentissage participe à l’évolution de l’intelligence, qui permet aux élèves d’interagir avec les objets et de développer des structures cognitives, en fonction de leur âge et de la période de développement dans laquelle ils se trouvent ; en ce sens, l’enseignement doit aider à développer les séquences évolutives des structures, en surveillant les sauts qualitatifs qui peuvent être trouvés. Ce livre se veut un petit guide pour ceux qui sont intéressés par l’utilisation de la théorie de Piaget et son application.
