Questo studio comprendeva inizialmente un’indagine teorica sull’impegno organizzativo e sui suoi principali approcci. Ha inoltre presentato concetti significativi sul tema della performance e sull’importanza della sua valutazione nelle organizzazioni moderne. L’obiettivo principale era analizzare l’impegno organizzativo dei dipendenti di un’azienda leader nel suo segmento, in particolare la sua relazione con la performance individuale degli intervistati. Per analizzare e raccogliere dati sull’impegno, abbiamo utilizzato la Scala delle Intenzioni Comportamentali dell’Impegno Organizzativo (EICCO), che comprende gli approcci affettivi e strumentali all’impegno. Per valutare le prestazioni dei dipendenti sono stati utilizzati tre indicatori: la valutazione del coordinatore diretto, l’autovalutazione e l’importo delle commissioni ricevute in un determinato periodo. Sulla base dei risultati, è stato possibile identificare un’alta percentuale di dipendenti impegnati a livello organizzativo nell’azienda, soprattutto nell’ambito dell’approccio strumentale. Sono state riscontrate correlazioni positive tra l’impegno organizzativo e due degli indicatori di performance utilizzati.
