Uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources have deteriorated the surface of Earth significantly over the last couple of centuries. Ceramic articles and appliances have a very special position in our daily life, e.g., in electrical, electronics, medical, aviation, astronomy, biotechnology, and numerous other fields. In these ceramic items, China clay is an important constituent. The quality of ceramic products in India is not at par with international standards. This is because of deterioration in the quality of the raw clay minerals used by the industry. In this competitive world it is very difficult to survive, so some ceramic industries have chosen the way of producing quantity rather than quality products. The rising cost of the fuel has further deteriorated the condition for survival. The importance of finding newer sources of raw materials has become decisive element for the economic power of a country. The forecasts to discover new clay reserves based on the theories of their developments are very essential.
