While I was working as a facilitator for Grieving Children Irealized how limited the material was on helping children go throughthe grieving process. Consequently I wrote this book. The story is true and the races horses are real. Luck Ahead wasour first race horse and she lived to be 24. She had many babiesthat had babies of their own. This story tells about all the happymemories she left behind. How to be a race horse, about some of hermost exciting races and about watching her babies grow. Children can be sad but they should remember the happy timesand be glad of all the wonderful memories. Luck Ahead’s babies hada lot of happy memories.
