Das Ziel dieser Monografieforschung war die Analyse von Brückendeckplatten aus verstärkten Glasfaserpolymeren. Mit Blick auf zukünftige Konstruktionen sind die Verbundwerkstoffe aus Glasfaser sehr vielversprechend. Es ist möglich, Brückenfelder aus Stahlträgern und GFK-Decks zu erstellen (nach dem Vorbild des ASSET-Systems). Die Identifizierung der Art der Glasfaser, der Polymermatrix oder der Klebstofftypen mit Stahl oder Beton ist ein sehr interessantes Thema. Gemäß der Untersuchung des Autors wurde die parallele Identifizierung von GFK-Platten vorgestellt: DTA-Analyse, Spektroskopieanalyse, Scanning und optische Mikroskopüberwachung wurden mit der Grundlagenforschung zur Beanspruchung - Biegefestigkeit von GFK-Brückendeckplatten - präsentiert. Die Verwendung von Faserverbundwerkstoffen hat großes Potenzial im Brückenbau. Diese Brückenkonstruktionen haben eine längere Lebensdauer, sind korrosionsbeständig, haben ein leichtes Deck und beeindruckende Beanspruchungsparameter; all dies sind gute Alternativen zu traditionellen Konstruktionen.
