Évaluation des performances d’un système pilote de filtration multi-étapes (FiME) pour le traitement de l’eau brute prélevée à la source de surface qui alimente la ville de Goianápolis/GO. L’installation utilisée dans cette recherche comprenait un préfiltre dynamique (PFD), un préfiltre ascendant (PFA) et deux filtres lents, l’un avec du sable (FLA) et l’autre avec du sable et du charbon actif en grains (FLACAG). Les résultats obtenus suggèrent que le système FiME est efficace pour traiter les eaux de surface avec des niveaux élevés de coliformes totaux et thermotolérants et avec des pics de couleur et de turbidité, produisant, lorsqu’il fonctionne correctement, une eau avec de faibles niveaux de couleur, de turbidité et de bactéries coliformes, répondant aux recommandations de l’ordonnance 518/2004 du ministère de la Santé, démontrant la viabilité de l’application de cette technologie dans la production d’eau destinée à la consommation humaine.
