L’objectif était de caractériser la performance des élèves de 5ème année dans des tâches qui évaluaient la fonction pragmatique du langage, la théorie de l’esprit et la compréhension et l’expression médiées par l’écriture, en fonction de la performance scolaire moyenne (GI, GII et GIII) et d’étudier l’existence de corrélations entre les variables étudiées. Conclusion : les élèves du groupe GI (dont les performances scolaires sont les plus élevées) ont montré de meilleures performances que les autres groupes dans les trois tâches, ce qui corrobore l’association positive entre les performances et les performances scolaires.
