Ce travail vise à évaluer la répartition spatiale de la teneur et du stock en carbone organique total (COT) dans deux parcelles agricoles situées à El Krib (Nord-Ouest de la Tunisie), conduites respectivement en agriculture conventionnelle et en semis direct. Après une synthèse bibliographique sur les problématiques de dégradation des sols et les pratiques agricoles durables, l’étude s’appuie sur des analyses physico-chimiques de sols (pH, conductivité, phosphore, bases échangeables, COT) et une modélisation spatiale des stocks en COT. Les résultats montrent que le semis direct favorise une meilleure préservation du carbone organique dans le sol, comparé au labour conventionnel. Des corrélations entre les paramètres du sol et le COT ont été établies, soulignant l’importance de pratiques de conservation pour la séquestration du carbone. Cette étude met en évidence l’intérêt de la gestion durable des sols pour lutter contre la dégradation et améliorer la fertilité à long terme.
