Les céréales et particulièrement le blé dur occupe une place prépondérante dans l’agriculture et par conséquent l’économie Algérienne. Cette importance se justifie à plusieurs niveaux. Cette espèce constitue un élément de base du modèle alimentaire de la population locale. Néanmoins sa production demeure faible pour satisfaire les besoins sans cesse croissants et son importation constitue une lourde facture à l’économie Algérienne. Le travail présenté consiste en l’étude des relations établies entre les aspects physiologiques de la germination et les particularités structurales de la graine du blé dur, sous différents régimes hydriques imposés par des variations des potentiels osmotiques du milieu de germination. Les divergences structurales des graines sont conditionnées par la nature des graines, émanant de huit génotypes, d’origines et comportements différents.
