Ceci influence par voie de conséquences les activités socio - économiques.Le Paludisme est une affection qui joue un rôle non négligeable en milieu rural du Sankuru, dans la baisse du rendement scolaire.C’est une affection qui compromet la santé des éleves, caractérisée par des états de morbité provoquant la faiblesse généralisée et l’irrégularité ayant pour conséquence la baisse du rendement scolaire.
