Die Bewertung nimmt in jedem Bildungsprozess einen zentralen Platz ein, da sie nicht nur die Lernergebnisse der Schülerinnen und Schüler misst, sondern auch die Lehrkräfte bei der Anpassung ihrer pädagogischen Praktiken anleitet. Im marokkanischen Kontext spielt der Geographieunterricht als Kernfach eine entscheidende Rolle für das Verständnis der räumlichen, ökologischen und sozialen Dynamiken. Die Bewertung in diesem Fach ist jedoch nach wie vor von mehreren Herausforderungen geprägt, seien sie pädagogischer, methodischer oder institutioneller Art, die eine eingehende Analyse und konkrete Verbesserungsvorschläge erfordern.In den letzten zehn Jahren habe ich als Lehrer für Geschichte und Geografie unter der Schirmherrschaft des französischen Bildungsministeriums und mit einer speziellen Ausbildung in Erziehungswissenschaften (Doktor der Erziehungswissenschaften, Spezialisierung auf Didaktik der Sozialwissenschaften und Entwicklung) die zahlreichen Probleme rund um die Bewertung im Geografieunterricht miterlebt.
